If you haven’t seen it yet, Buster’s Beer and Bait has opened on the East end of the beach on S. Thomas Dr.
Formerly Lowes Liquors, Buster’s has given the entire place an updated look and brought a great addition to the neighborhood.
Last Thursday, Buster’s was given approval to include a small beer and wine bar in the plans and the addition is in the works.
Visitors to the area, plus locals who live in the neighborhood nearby will soon have a place to go to taste specialty beers and wines before they buy. Buster plans to host tasting events in the new bar.The shop sells liquor but will only offer beer and wine for consumption on the premises.
In the back of the store will soon be the bait and tackle shop. They will offer fishing pole rentals and surf fishing clinics as well as boat trailer parking and a fish cleaning station.
Buster’s Beer and Bait is located at 5900 Thomas Drive. The Beach Bux coupon is here.
Buster’s is fully operational now, with liquor in the front, bait in the back. The wine and beer bar are very popular with those locals and guests in the surrounding neighborhoods, especially on Thirsty Thursdays, when Buster’s offers something special.. drink specials and some kind of food tasting.
Sweet Racks BBQ is on site several days a month, too, so be sure and follow Buster’s on Facebook so that you can stay up to date on all of their events and special guests.
This Saturday, February 23, starting at 4pm, Buster’s will host their Local’s Appreciation party. Food, beer, music and fun are on the agenda. Find out more on their Facebook page.
