The Wicked Wheel Has Opened!

Last Tuesday, Leslie and I were honored to have been invited to attend the preliminary opening of The Wicked Wheel, and what a treat it was!

The décor of the restaurant has a Biker Theme, and the bar is set up with motorcycles as seats. There are vintage bikes hanging from the ceiling. The restaurant is like a museum for Bikers.

We were greeted by the friendly hostess staff as we arrived and seated immediately to enjoy lunch.  Once seated, we were promptly approached by our server Taylor.  She was so nice and informative to our questions about the menu.

We ordered our drinks and looked over the new menu with enthusiasm, deciding on the appetizer of “Hog Shrimp”, which consisted of (2) healthy skewers of bacon-wrapped shrimp served with a marvelous “Wicked Sauce”. We were both impressed by the generous serving of this appetizer and the sauce was AMAZING. This appetizer is on the menu for just $7.99, which is a very good price for the amount of shrimp you get.

Leslie ordered the “Cheese Burger Burnout” with her choice of melted blue cheese. The burger was so huge that she had to eat it with a fork. I ordered the “Wicked Wedge”, consisting of a wedge of iceberg, Roma tomatoes, red onions, croutons, and a very good blue cheese dressing.  I also ordered the “Gulf Shrimp” which came with a very tasty corn muffin.

We finally splurged on a dessert to share.  We decided on the Banana Foster Cheesecake and it was to die for. It was so rich that you would have to split it. We absolutely enjoyed it to the hilt.

We were so honored to be invited to this preliminary opening of Eric Buskell’s new restaurant.  It was a wonderful experience and we wish the best of luck to The Wicked Wheel …..Do yourself a favor and go try it out…  We hear the fried chicken is amazing!

The Wicked Wheel is located at 10025 Hutchinson Blvd. Panama City Beach, FL.  Reach them at 850-588-7947.  You can also keep in touch with them through their Facebook page.

I agree with Lorrie! Even non-bike enthusiasts will enjoy the theme. And.. it’s not just about motorcycles. It’s classic cars, too! My burger was delicious, the appetizer was even more so and the bananas foster cheesecake was heavenly. Plan on spending around $7 to $11 for a burger or sandwich, $10.99 for a fried chicken meal with 3 pieces, 2 sides and bread. The menu tops out at $17.99 for the filet with 2 sides and bread. With these prices, the good food and the fun atmosphere this is definitely a great addition to the beach!

That burger, Leslie had was huge. You had to eat it with a fork. She had Sweet potato fries with her burger that were seasoned to perfection.

I am looking forward to the next visit to The Wicked Wheel.

We are locals who were looking for something different to try for lunch. We found a treasure when we found the Wicked Wheel! The food was excellent! I had the popcorn shrimp and it was the biggest and tastiest popcorn shrimp I’ve ever had. It came with two sides which i got fries and coleslaw, both were very tasty! I usually dont like ordering coleslaw in a restaurnt as you never know what your going to get and usually it tastes bad but this coleslaw was so fresh and good taste. You get so much food for your money and you definately wont be disappointed! I hope they dont change anything because it was one of the most enjoyable lunches I’ve had in a very long time.
