When you can’t decide… BBQ or Seafood?

The first place I went to eat when I moved to Panama City Beach was Salty Sue’s and I can’t count the number of times I have returned since.  It’s just that good!

I love the brick walled interior with interesting framed artwork scattered about.  The atmosphere, like most of the places in this area,  is casual, full of energy and fun.

The best time to go for a deal is happy hour.  Salty Sue’s serves up a great happy hour combined with an early bird dinner special.  You can choose a starter such as a dozen raw oysters or 10 smoked wings for just $4.99.  For dinner, choose either the 2 pulled pork dinners for $15.95 or the 2 St. Louis Cut Ribs for $24.95.  Both dinner choices come with 2 sides for each of you.  The baby bakers are to die for as is the sweet potato.  There is a list of fifteen different sides you can choose from so surely there will be something for everyone.

If you miss the 6pm cut off you can still get a great deal on dinner with the All You Can Eat Hickory Smoked Pork plus 2 sides for just $9.95.  This deal is offered all day.

The main menu offers patrons BBQ dinners in the $10 range, a couple of steaks and a wide range of seafood.  Try the Pangasius Sue, a nice grilled or blackened white fish dish for just $12.95.

Salty Sue’s is not a seafood house that also does an ok job on BBQ and it’s not a BBQ joint with a few seafood items on the menu.  This is a place that is able to do both and do them both exceptionally well at a reasonable price.

Located at 17501 Panama City Beach Parkway, just past Hwy 79 on the left, you can enjoy lunch and dinner 7 days a week most weeks of the year.  Dogs are allowed on the patio!
